i have had problems over night . spoke to my dsn this morning she has told me that the cannulas are not right for me and using the inserter wont make any difference. im now off my pump and using pens til thursday. im not gonna give up on the pump because i want it to work for me x

i think im gonna go for the rapid d ones . i just hope im ok til then or i will have to use injections . i have done a full change today and touch wood everything is ok .

im using the flexilink cannulas but im not using the inserter . i have spoken to my dsn and we are gonna look at other cannulas when i go to see her on thursday .

well after a 3 good days on my pump i hit problems !!! ended up doing 3 cannula changes then i thought things were ok. saturday morning i ended up in a&e with dka !!! ketones of 6.8 and bg 30.9 i was vomiting . im home and well now back on my pump and hoping all is gonna be ok :D

hi and thanks guys , im in the union at work and i will be ringing them in the morning ! im not sure how to get in touch with the company hr department. i could feel my blood starting to boil today at work but i kept calm!!! (it was difficult)

i have been off work sick because i have hurt my back. i had an attendance review on monday , at the review my employer kept bringing up my diabetes and the control of my diabetes. i wasnt off work because of my diabetes. he has also got my number of sick days wrong he said i have had 27 work...

thank you guys :D im really excited but also very nervous!!! the accuchek was my second choice of pump i wanted the dana r pump because it is smaller and lighter than the other pump but i would have had to wait longer for it . i have waited months already .
