It seems this was or is a national shortage, due to the NHS telling all who put diabetics on this insulin to use this (as it is cheaper) there was such a demand that manufacture ran short

and put on metformin I looked at it like a game
checking levels was a score some days were better than others even now I still sort of regard it as that but no longer on metformin just use insulin now, do you do blood check of any...
This probably is nothing to worry about but some times when I inject into my arm I get a drop or two of blood when removing the needle
Is this a common occurrence ? Probably not but thought I would ask
