Why is the Insight handset so slow?

I was on the insight for 8 years and found it painfully slow but at the time, this was progress. Ive now changed and I’m on MEDTRONIC 670g with the CGM, since 7-10-19, I’ve found it so difficult to grasp as personally I’ve found it so high tech which I’ve not picked up easily and am still...

I fully agree with SallyEzra I changed from the insight after 8 years to the Medtronic 670g the first two weeks were hell, keytones high sugars and continuous bleeping mainly at night, I ended up feeling totally let down completely I learnt so much from YouTube as the instructions in the...

    Steroid-Induced Diabetes question

Hi I read this with a lot of interest, even though there’s words that I just cannot comprehend, I ended with full blown Type 1, 6-8 months after coming off Prednisone in 1975 which I’d been on for 12 years for kidney failure. The doctors did comment that the diabetes was probably caused by the...

Haven’t been given the sensors yet but 8 days ? I know when I used the LIBRE I started to get a bit itchy around then. I was connected on the 670g yesterday using the Contour Next, it all seemed totally confusing push this scroll that but when I got home I was baffled totally. So I just tested...

    MEDTRONIC 670g

I was going to upgrade to another pump originally but with a lot of discussions etc and pros and cons, I’m starting on the above mentioned pump with CGM etc tomorrow. Although I have reasonably good control HbA1c between 5.5 & mid 6. I seem to have gained these figures by hypos etc well a few...

    Anyone using an Ypsopump?

I’m waiting to go onto the Ypsopump but my endocrinologist has now decided that might not be the best pump for me. I’ve used pumps for years but I still get severe hypos and now and then and I’ve no hypo awareness so he wants me to try the Medtronic 670G and use a Dexcom G6 The Ypsopump is...

But I don’t know how, I’ve now got 10 pens of basal and 10 of long term that we’re prescribed to me. Hmm perhaps somebody is trying to tell me...
