Well the results are in...no change I am still 47 (6.4%) but at least it is stable. Doctor said not to be disheartened as I lost half a stone and it is stable. So I'll carry on with the low carb diet and see where I get to. Sent from the Diabetes Forum App

I was diagnosed pre-diabetic in April with a HB1AC of 47 ...DN said low-sugar low -fat diet and retest in 6 months. I said I would go back to the Atkins diet then and she was agast and said she wouldn't advise that...from reading posts from you wonderful people on this website...I think LowCarb...
