hi, i used to get thrush when my blood sugars were high. my gp said it was blood sugar related. i am not overweight and since having better control i have not had thrush. maybe check with your gp for a different treatment.

hi, i have been type 1 for 28 years and also was like your son as a teenager, i just didnt feel in control and i rebelled. i know a lot of people who did the same but all stopped and got control. he will outgrow this phase and take control, its just something that we all do. just reassure him...

me again, another thought. hypo's, really scare me. i had some terrible ones when i was a kid, i was bullied for being a "druggie". my hypo's made me cry, kids thought i was weird, and i was hospitalised 3 timed due to hypo's. perhaps thats why i was happy running high for so long.
