Dont see the point if dieting is making life intolerable. I thought the same as you firstly but soon came to realize metformin cuts you a bit of slack.
Yes, I thought that too. After the initial investment of the machine itself, there is bound to be some kind of subscription. As long as its loads cheaper than Libre, I would look at it.
Hello all,
I have been reading about Apple,Samsung etc making these watches for diabetics. does anyone have any information on them ?
Last year I recall a statement saying that developments were happening rapidly and we may see prototypes rolled out this year.
I for one cant wait, I hate finger...
thanks Lamont, this shakiness is only when glucose drops significantly more or less into hypo. to be fair, this isnt happening much now as I think I have it sorted and now eat properly. I have been diagnosed for 11 months now so I guess medication is a bit trial and error for my doc.
my bloods were 8.6 this morning. 4 hours later and after a small breakfast and cuppa, driving back home, started trembling. Got home just in time and gone into hypo measuring 3.3.
just seems you cant win with this awful condition sometimes.
8.1 this morning , feeling shaky after work so just checked again 2hrs after lunch..guess what 3.4 !! had some fruit and 20 mins later 3.3. so half a pack of lucozade tabs to get me in range. just cant win. thought i was doing well too.
