Hi, I was wondering whether any one knew a website or anywhere that I can buy a nice looking lightweight medical alert band to wear mostly at work. I bought a pretty expensive necklace but boy is it heavy and uncomfortable. I did see one on a random google search which was floral with the alert...

in the end I took a can of diet coke and a tub of mixed berries...ie: strawberries, raspberries, blue berries Mmmm lovely :thumbup:

Hi me again... :oops: OK so...tomorrow I am going to the red hot chilli peppers gig; doors open at 4pm and I have been taking my meds 2000mg slow release metformin at 6pm with a meal. I called the stadium of light where the gig is playing and explained that I have diabetes and needed to take...

No! :shock: I don't have an apartment with the dietician .....I haven't moved in with him/her just out of laziness just so they can sort out my grub or anything!!! it's just a normal innocent APPOINTMENT honestly :wink: :lolno:

Ooooh flyerphil I'm scared :wink: finally got my meter today (refused by GP and so I bought my own) and yet again my incompetence is glaringly obvious! when I did a test two hours after eating food and it read 13.1mmol/L ? :? can anyone explain what this means in simple terms! ideally...

I have been reading the advice about low carb diet i have even bought the Collins carb counter book as recommended...but HOW MANY carbs per day should we be eating exactly? sorry for sounding dim! but I have,t really been told much from the GP....i have to wait untill next month to see a dietician.
