Is buying a Miaomiao worth it?

Hi! I would like to ask if buying a miaomiao add- on to Libre is worth it. My DD aged 7 is going back to school and there is no school nurse. The teachers have been amazing but we are all anxious. Does it work ok? Would someone surely recommend it for a child away from home?

Hi thanks for replying. I tried the pancakes twice to make sure, yeah big spike to 270 and came down really fast cause we did some outside activity. Best breakfast omelette as you mentioned, some bacon, slice of brown bread and some milk. She loves it. We live in a village so we have most things...

    Can she eat anything??

Thanks to everyone for replying. Yeah, the counting carbs sounded to good and easy to be true. But sugar? Fat? Colourings? Conservatives? Nothing to be said about those. Thats what my dad didnt like. And luckily got in touch with a family friend who is a professor endo and she said the same...

Thanks for replying. I have no advice from our doctors to give insulin after meals and as we are new to this I dont know why this could be, her age? The type of insulin? Pizza

There is a 100gr pizza= 30 gr carbs. So she takes 1/18 ratio= so she takes 1.5 doses of humalog pen pre meal. So we cant split the dose. If she takes more insulin she will go too low in half an hour, if she takes 1.5 she goes low but ok and then high after 5-6 hours. The way i see it is a real...

High blood sugar levels 1 hour after breakfast

One question: the "glucose dumping" of the liver, does it lead to high or low count? At 8 which is before breakfast she is at 78- 95. Sometime libre shows a hypo but after checking rarely is true.

High blood sugar levels 1 hour after breakfast

Hi! Thank you for replying. Yes it spikes meaning at 40 minutes the arrow shows up and sometimes the libre can count and it say to count in ten minutes. When that happens its soaring to 250. Then it drops. At 1/15 it would drop to hypoglycemic levels at two hours, but at 1/18 is falls to 110 at...
