My diabetic 2 dietitian gave me this official diet plan. On it I lost 16kg in about 8 months and my Hba1c went from 90 to 39. I never went hungry( but had cravings). I still use it now but add in a bit extra fat with a keto diet
How frustrating for you. Look on the web and download an HbA1c chart/s. That will give you a clearer picture. You are doing well. You have it under control and should just carry on the way you are. It is a lifelong illness and keeping it under control is your aim.
