Aldi sell some socks online that have gentle but effective ribbing around the top. £4-£5 for 5 pairs, various spotty/stripey patterns.

Call From Doctor Regarding Low Blood Glucose Reading

Except that is ambiguous, too. Twice a year, or every two years? Wonderfully complex language, English.

    Fasting blood test

Sorry, really dumb question but I simply can’t remember. When fasting prior to a blood test is it okay to drink black tea or coffee? Or is water the only permissible liquid? I’d hate to deprive myself of a nice cup of tea if I don’t have to!

Call From Doctor Regarding Low Blood Glucose Reading

Or if you don’t use the hyphen that eliminates ambiguity: six-monthly. Eats shoots and leaves and all that.

To pancake or not to pancake ? That is the question.

Well, that was a huge thumbs up from the family. Used thawed Everyday Value summer berries from Tesco with lightly whipped double cream as a filling and it was yummy. I also added some melted butter to the uncooked batter to enrich it.

To pancake or not to pancake ? That is the question.

I'm going to be trying this recipe for the crêpes, with summer berries and whipped cream for the filling, or chocolate ganache for those who prefer. http://www.sweetashoney.co/french-crepe-recipe-almond-flour-whipped-coconut-cream-low-carb/

My mother is also T2, and I'm extremely underwhelmed by the treatment she receives from her practice so am looking for...

Say It Ain't So; Lidl Discontinue Protein Rolls.

I just managed to get some from the Lidl near my mother's house (only 200 miles from me, so not that convenient...). They are definitely much smaller, though.

Say It Ain't So; Lidl Discontinue Protein Rolls.

My local Lidl has closed down, so today I made the trek to my next-nearest. Three weeks ago I had happily bought a small stash of protein rolls there, and I wanted to replenish my stocks. Not only were there no rolls on display, there was no empty basket where the rolls should be. I asked a...

    Passover, anyone?

Rakusens Tea Matzos are 4g of carbs per cracker, so you could probably accommodate this within your daily carb limit. http://rakusens.co.uk/product/tea-matzos-passover/

    Low carb cheesecake.

4 whats of Splenda? The recipe doesn't specify, and I'd like to try it. Is it 4 tablespoons? All of the other ingredients are measured in tablespoons, but they have omitted the unit for the Splenda.
