Had a stressful day so ordered dominos with some hit cookies. 2 hours after and it's 10.2. And I feel bloated and like meh lol

I tend to beat myself up a lot.
My bloods last week were around 15. Switched to 1000mg (from 500) and major diet change s brought it right down. I have noticed stress really spikes my levels. Pumped me up to 9.5.

Breakfast - porridge with coconut milk and diced apricot
Snack- wholewheat biscuit with cheese
Lunch - 2 egg omelette with mushroom and cheese
Snack - beef jerky
Dinner - turkey mushroom tomato beansprouts stir fry

My last 3 readings were 15.5 14.5 and 12.5. I'm on Metformin 500 once a day. I'm eating well finallgafinally exercise daily for theathe last few weeks had cancer last year (kidney removed)
I'm stressing out but hopefully a higher dose of pills and continuing to eat exercise better will help...
Only have a few strips for now. Ok. Yesterday: an apple pear and smoothie (milk yoghurt banana strawberry) another pear. For dinner chicken (cold drumsticks with skin) salad and couscous.
