    I have just started with BG testing and am meant to test two hours after meal.....will exactly two hours give optimum results? Results so far has been 'varied' to say the least. :?

    Whats Your Favorite Thing About Diabetes?

    Sorry to sound negative but, so far, I haven't identified a favourite anything about being diabetic. When I think about it I either feel that I over-confident about the whole thing or petrified I am not taking it seriously enough...either way it's very scary. :?

    Hi Julie, I am new too...to the site, diabetes AND Metformin. I also need to lose weight and get control but - apart from kicking the sweeties etc on the head and adopting a healthier diet - not quite sure where I go from here....looks like we are on the same path. :wave:

    Metformin

    Type II diagnosis confirmed on Wednesday and started with 500mg once daily initially...two tablets taken and experienced nausea (expected) but had chronic indigestion too...anyone else had this or just me? On this basis, NOT looking forward to that extra daily tablet in two weeks time. :?:
