Hi there I have been on and off gliclizide for a few years. The only side effect I'm aware off is weight gain when I'm taking this tablet. When I come off it I lose weight quickly and effortlessly.

Hi there you have my sympathy as I too suffer from itchy hands and feet. This can happen throughout the day but more often or not it affects me late evening and/or bedtime. That's when the itching is at its worst and it stops me sleeping. I have spoken to my diabetic practitioner and podiatrist...
