    Dexcom G7

Hi Ellie, It's a little bit fiddly but worth it when it's up and running. I'm using an iPhone SE 2020 and a FitBit Versa 4. The phone is actually trying to upgrade me to IOS 16.2 but it's not listed as being compatible on Dexcom's website. I'll add the link in case anyone needs it Dexcom 7...

Hi Everyone, I was wondering if anybody knows whether the new Dexcom G7 sensor can be linked to a Fitbit Versa 4 ?. I'd like to see my blood glucose information on the watch face as it would make life a lot easier but i can't figure out how to do it. Has anyone got this working or maybe...

    Moving to Spain

Thank you all for the links and advice. I'll google some expat forums and see what I can come up with. I'm also going to contact the Spanish embassy here and see what they say. I'll post back anything helpful I find. Thanks again

    Moving to Spain

It's amazing how nobody seems to know for sure. I've been making some more enquiries today and still can't get a definite answer. Might have to hop on a plane over there and go see a doctor :nurse:

    Moving to Spain

Hi All, I ran a search and similar questions have been asked before but my situation is a little different. I'm thinking of relocating to Spain with early retirement. I won't be working there and was wondering if anyone knows the cost of insulin (Novorapid and Lantus) and test strips. I know...

    Disappointed

I'm not quite sure why you're disappointed. Most diabetics would kill for those results. Well done !

    Advice on injecting in public

I'm a T1 and my mother is also a T1.....I've seen her injecting at the dinner table and also noticed some people's reaction to it. Most are fine but some turn away and roll their eyes. It might be a 'fear of needles' thing I don't know but I personally put my pen and monitor in my pocket and go...

    Travelling to China

Hi there....I went to China for a 3 week holiday 4 years ago and nobody questioned me about the medication or pens. I had the usual note from my hospital to say I was ok to travel with all the bits and pieces but wasn't asked for it at any stage. We travelled Air France. I flew to Beijing and...

how do you guys experience a hypo

My head would usually start to feel a little cloudy and a little weakness in my legs. If I don't treat it and it gets a hold of me, i'd start eating and not stop until it was gone. If the kitchen was locked i'd eat the door !. But then an hour later my BG would be 23.7 or something ridiculous...

    Hello there

Hi all...think this is my second post. I'm a Type 1 for the last 18 years but usually get good results in my check ups. I suppose I can consider myself lucky as it can be a frustrating illness to keep under control. Looking forward to hearing everyone else's experiences

    2.4 Hypo

Wow that's a lot of sugar to treat a hypo....what was your reading when you woke up the next morning ? I got a 1.9 the other week but that was very rare. Hope you're feeling better
