Hello I have recently had my bloods taken and my hsbc1 was 5.8 and my cholesterol was 5.8 too the nurse suggested I start taking cholesterol tablets and also 1 metformin a day I thought that my levels were ok and don't understand why they want me to start on medication. Am I missing something?

Hi Sheila eating 3 meals a day is difficult on shift work I work nights and tend to eat low carb small meals 4 hourly during the night and small tea before I start work preparation is the key really I cook batches of food on day off n freeze mainly. Sent from my iPad using DCUK Forum mobile app
