    Shuggah App Garmin Watch Face

Yes, i have a vivoactive 3, the battery life isn't the best anyway but I'm having to charge it every day since i added this function, i might look at investing in a watch with a better battery life eventually but its an inconvenience im happy to live with for the constant readings

    Shuggah App Garmin Watch Face

Its not a simple setup unfortunately, took me a while to get it working, i followed this guide though which was quite useful, hopefully Garmin can create a native app like they have for dexcom https://hypotalks.com/diabetes-tech-news/nightscout-setup-guide-dummies/

    Shuggah App Garmin Watch Face

I never knew this could be done with the libre2 system, I've spent the afternoon setting up the shuggah app and nightscout so i can view my levels on my Garmin watch and Edge cycling computer, wish i'd known about this sooner! If only Abbott created a native Garmin app rather than having to...

    Free’ist Marshmallows?

I've eaten sugar free marshmallows in the past and they've had no impact on my blood glucose levels, however, if you eat more than a handful of them, id make sure you're not too far away from a toilet!

    Managing Diabetes On The Bike

If im going out for a longer ride, i'll usually eat a bowl of cereal or a slice of toast about 30 to 45 minutes before setting off and wont take any insulin for it, that usually gets me through the first 90-120 minutes then i'll top up with a gel or some haribo as others have suggested, getting...

    10.9 2 hours after dinner

Another link on the same web page (it wont let me post a direct link but look for the Diabetes-and-Hyperglycaemia page) also defines hyperglycemia as being above 11 two hours after meal time which is why i said 10.9 isnt too much to worry about after having a high carb meal, if type 1, i'd...

    10.9 2 hours after dinner

10.9 isnt too much to worry about in the short term, i wouldnt say it wa stoo high a couple of hours after eating something like paste, id suggest testing again in another hour or so, it will likely come down naturally, readings like 10.9 arent dangerously high in the short term and are to be...

    Brown Pasta

Im type 1 and eat things like bread, pasta and rice, it can be done while still keeping your levels under control, even non diabetics will get spikes after eating Cutting out all or most carbs is often recommended for type 2's but for a type 1 it can actually be dangerous leading to more hypo's...
