Now got to start glucozide as the metformin not working fast enough

Recently diagnosed with t2 diabetes, now started metformin prior to that had no symptoms or inclination of anything near diabetes. Used to work shifts then stressful 9-5 would drink a small bottle of lucozade sport nearly every day which i assume is the cause of it all. Now retired lost 2 stone+...
