    Long working short-acting insulin

Another that has large drops in the afternoon. I presented evidence that it is the bolus that is the issue by showing no movement if I miss lunch (a lovely flat level reading) but large drops after 5 hours when i did have lunch. Trainee consultant seemed interested but their suggestions either...

Antje77 - thanks for your reply - and what you have said this is where we are thinking - of happy for her to eat whatever takes their fancy. Yes she has a long list of medications but pretty sure none are steroids but will have another check espcially on some recent changes. Roe

    Travel insurance with diabetes

Before covid always used Insure and Go - most times got annual insurance for about the £140 for just me. This time needed to use Allclear as partner on a waitlist for a hip so pretty sure it will not happen before our planned trip wanted to make sure we were covered. The price without the...

    Old fashioned treatment....

I'm with you on vials & syringes. I did change from Lantus to Tresiba so had to go onto a pen but at least I know from my experience I will not go that way for my short acting as it will not work for me. Hopefully it is just a manufacture issue than moving away from vials.
