Hi can anyone tell me why i have a blood glucose level of 20.0 at 1.40am in the morning it seems rather high its no good telling my doctor all he says well we wont do anything so ive lost faith in him.

I just took a bg reading a 10pm its 21.3 symptoms were i have a headache and foot soreness should i get this checked out ?

No i dont follow any diets and eat everything i shouldnt so i cant complain really as i dont care about my life as i am very depressed about life and have been since 2003.As i said earlier my Bg is 15.3 at 23.45.

Well its 6.45 pm and my blood sugar is 12.8 when i have seen my Doctor he doesnt seem all that bothered so long as my hb1ac is below 10. Later this evening it will be 15 + it always is.

Ive got almond smelling breath i am aware that this is because of low blood sugar but mine is 12.8 im now confused by this?

Ok i have just taken my reading at 10.19pm and it is 13.3mmol and my dinner was at 2.30 pm spaghetti bolognese followed by sandwich at 8.00 pm thats all i have had today,it will be interesting when i take my fasting test in the morning.

I was on Metformin 1500mg and then 1750 mg but even though i was taking them with food i was having terrible stomach upsets and using the bathroom 8 or 9 times a day ,enough said so i asked to go back on pioglitazone but my doctor said if i have high blood sugars (we wouldnt do anything)his...

I nowc have a reading of 21.1 mmols at 12.40am and have not had any sugary foods today i am on Pioglitazone 30mg what is going wrong.

I have just taken my blood sugar at 11 pm and it was 19.0 this could be the reason for the background retinopathy i eat proper meals but i do have a tendency to eat a lot of mars bars and Twixes,and i dont limit anything anymore oops.

Ive just had my diabetes eye check and there is background retinopathy which they are going to monitor every year

Apparently i have background retinopathy which they found on my annual diabetic test but they said it will not affect my eyesight and i dont need any treatment but my blood sugars are not controlled ,will this get worse in the future ?
