    very confused

Sounds like an almost Gluten / cereal free diet would work, i was on a GF diet for ages and didnt have a major problem with it. My big problem would be being hungry. One of my meds has the side effect of making you feel hungry, home made veggie soup here i come I guess!

Thank you, don't feel so bad knowing that its not just me who's felt like this. I dont cope well with change, and am so tired of being told by so called professionals that i must do this or that, and then find out thats wrong...... Did any of you get found to be anaemic at the same time?

Your DLA award will normally end on your 18th birthday, but if for example you were awarded a lifetime award, it would just start again as an adult award. The most likely is that you will need to make a new application for PIP as an adult (PIP has replaced DLA for adults). Remember though that...

Have you been told not to test your blood sugars?

It depends on Health Authority whether Type 2 get the strips or not on prescription. Oxfordshire limits it to Type 1 and Type 2 who are injecting!

Metformin, side effects and other meds

I have been reading about Metformin (due to start it this week), and its particular side effect of causing the trots. Initially i thought Yippee, weight loss, but having put my 'thinking head on' as would say Judge Judy, suddenly realised it could have dire consequences for my other meds. I...

    New Member - Hi

Thank you all for your messages. I dont seem to have made much progress in respect of changing my lifestyle. I had planned to go for a walk with my husband, but he has hurt his back and can't walk far, and as amongst other things i have a form of agoraphobia I cant go out! I have been busy at...
