    Just started Trulicity

I know it slows gastric emptying, so lunch can still be sitting in your stomach when your trying to eat dinner, meaning we’ll get full faster and for longer. I’ve lost some weight since I started, I was 12st 3lbs and I’m now 10st 9lbs. Weight loss can help a lot with T2 (well if someone has...

    Just started Trulicity

They passed for me fairly quickly, fingers crossed they will for you too. This may not be part of your problem but might be worth considering, as you mentioned eating little, it’s too easy on this Med to under-eat too much, i track macro’s and found some days I only managed 800 ish calories...

    Just started Trulicity

I’ve been using trulicity for nearly 3 months now, just had my latest A1C results which came down from 58 to 32! I never had any major side effects but was a little nauseated, weak and tired for the first few weeks but that has now all gone. The only effect that has stayed is the loss of...

Does it get harder to control BG levels as time goes on?

Yeah, I’m currently doing a similar approach with intermittent OMAD fasting and dropped carbs keto levels a little while back (but not eating very high fat, can’t tolerate it) I’m quite content to stick with this way of eating, i just wonder if diabetes is progressive like I’ve been told, maybe...

Does it get harder to control BG levels as time goes on?

I might just do that if she calls me in to redo bloods, right now she’s leaving me in the hands of my endocrinologist to make the call whether they need retesting, which I don’t really see the point in they will be due again in a little over 2 months anyway!

Does it get harder to control BG levels as time goes on?

I assumed it might, I keep being warned it progressive and right now basically everything is a shock to the system, that’s part of the reason I would like to cut a least one of my meds so I have options to fall back on

Does it get harder to control BG levels as time goes on?

Thank you for sharing, everyones results are telling me mine might not be a mistake, it’s possible! My weight is my next thing to tackle, my bmi is currently 25 so right at the top end of normal, thinking it might be beneficial to lose a stone to give myself some wiggle room. Definitely...

Does it get harder to control BG levels as time goes on?

Thank you!! it’s such a relief feeling like I have control but I’m just trying to manage my expectations for the future, I’m 31 so in this for the long haul as DN likes to remind me. hopefully next they will get me off meds

Does it get harder to control BG levels as time goes on?

Diagnosed in April with A1C of 108, latest results 32! Nurse believes they aren’t right as she said A1C can’t come down so much, so fast? I’ve been really strict with my diet so I contribute it to that. I’m curious if anyone had a similar reduction in A1C and does it typically get harder to...
