    Reversal of diabetes (t2)

Hi, I seem to have a GP surgery not the best, live in an area where the 'weight loss' injections aren't given on prescription whether you have diabetes type 2 or not. At the end of 2019 I was diagnosed with diabetes placed on Metformin a drug taken for just over 5 years, summer 2020 the...

    Feel incredibly guilty

Thank you. I’m sorry things have changed direction slightly. I am still in hospital on IV antibiotics but it now transpires my parents (next of kin) were told Necrotizing fasciitis? before tests actually confirmed this? Is that allowed? I had been using the weight loss injection Wegovy which I...

    Feel incredibly guilty

Hi, I’m feeling incredibly guilty to be in hospital with cellulitis in my lower left leg and foot, after it got red fast and developed a ball of fluid which required emergency surgery just over a week ago. It was my feet athletes foot which got me first diagnosed 2019. In February this year I...

    Colonoscopy

Hi, I’m on a GLP1 with a longish history of having had the injections and more recently the tablet form and due to have a pending camera test to look at the lower gi tract, does anyone know if I will have to stop the semiglutide? or will it come in handy if I decide not to eat whilst taking...

    Rybelsus on prescription

They started me on 3mg with it set to rise up. On Victoza they kept me capped at 1.2mg so it is all interesting. I get Rybelsus from the gp surgery not hospital. My brother got it from hospital as he is much more severe diabetic and he has just decided to give it up.

    Rybelsus on prescription

Thank you I thought it strange as the diabetic nurse only called earlier this week asking how it was going. I’ve tried to add it manually with Pharmacy2u who have also done 2 medication phone checks in last month not mentioning the trial business either just someone on a spinal support group...

    Rybelsus on prescription

Hi, I’m a type 2 diabetic recently put onto Rybelsus with Metformin reduced. I’ve a history of paying privately for the weight loss injections and having Victoza on prescription in the past. Coming to the end of first month and I’m confused. At no point did the diabetic nurse indicate this was...

    Time off for Diabetic appointments

Hi, I'm of working age living with Diabetes since 2019. I've recently been called into see the diabetic nurse with Victoza (AKA Liraglutide) going out of stock. Bit extreme as lots of the injections seem to be going out of stock anywhere so I fear I have a wasted appointment coming up. Just...

    Numb tummy

Hi, Thanks for allowing me to join the forum. I've been diabetic since December 2019 type 2. Up until December 2022, I would have considered myself with controlled diabetes/albeit family history of diabetes. I'm 41, feel I may be peri menopausal (but doctors don't seem to want to test until...
