Feb 2018 Insulin 32 units per day, Metformin, weight 175 lbs, A1c 9.5+
April 2018 Insulin 50+ units per day, Metformin, weight 183 lbs, A1c 9.7
May 2018 Insulin 62 units per day, Metformin, weight 188lbs, A1c 8.6
July 2018 started low carb diet
August 2018 Insulin 50 units per day, Metformin, weight 192 lbs, A1c 6.0
November 2018 Insulin <20 units per day, Metformin, Trajenta, weight 175 lbs, A1c 6.3
December 5th 2018 stopped insulin on own decision.
February 2019, Metformin, Trajenta, weight 170 lbs, A1c 6.9
May 2019 my Metformin is cut in half (now 2x500gm per day), no Trajenta, weight 160, A1c 6.5
July 2019, statin cut in half (literally).
August 2019, Metformin, weight 157, A1c 6.4 - hoped for better but it is a (very little) lower
February 2020, Metformin, weight 152, A1c still 6.4 but much better than my usual 2 point increase in the winter.
May 2020, Metformin, weight c. 155 lbs., A1c 6.4 again. Weather still cold for several weeks and no gym.
September 2020, Metformin cut in half. Now 1x500mg. weight 162 lbs., A1c 6.2. Doctor says, "You are no longer diabetic. Stay in control and Metformin will end at next A1c in late January."
