Bg Readings All Over The Place

I'm happy that the new meter can be trusted. The prescription is a bonus as well. I'm also happy that the testing is going well and the general trend is downwards.

Bg Readings All Over The Place

The good news is that after nearly 40 tests all seems to be ok with the new one. I had an appointment with the nurse yesterday and she was impressed with the spreadsheet printout I took with me showing before and after readings for different foods. She wrote me a prescription for 4*50 test...

Bg Readings All Over The Place

Well I bit the bullet and bought an Accu-Chek mobile. Four tests so far today done with both and the new one is a lot more consistent. It just means that all the foods I had tested over the last week and a half will have to be done again.

    Confused Already

I was diagnosed yesterday with T2. It was no great surprise as I seemed to have all the symptoms and waiting two weeks! for the blood test result meant I was resigned to the fact. What has confused me is being told to take 1 Metformin 500mg twice a day for a week and then 3 times a day for week...
