Covid/Coronavirus and diabetes - the numbers

There has been a lot of censorship / decrying of epidemiologists, doctors and the like who have been speaking out against government policy, and we get things like the majority of scientist say/ agree in the MSM not unlike climate change, when in reality the majority do not agree. There are a...

    Flu vaccination

Shingles tends to surface when your immune system is low or under duress could be the flu jab was enough to allow it to erupt. Having had it myself I can honestly say the most painful experience in my life, I hope he has a speedy recovery.

I use a new one a month, if I remember to change it, no particular reason other than it seemed a reasonable timescale to me.

Covid/Coronavirus and diabetes - the numbers

This is pretty much what a lot of immunologists and other medical types have been saying from quite early on, that there is more immunity in the general population than was being made out by the MSM and PTB.

What happened when you went on Keto?

I went keto from the get go, have seen a steady drop over 4 months since diagnosis to 38 on my last Hba1c. It has surprised me how effective going keto can be.

What are people thinking about a second lockdown?

There does seem to be an aversion to using anything cheap and off the shelf to mitigate the situation despite the many reports of its efficacy in the field elsewhere. Assuming all those doctors who say they have used it with success are not telling porkies, It would allow society to return to...

Screw fix and Amazon spring to mind, you'll get something reasonable around £30 or you can go for a designer label...

COVID the real numbers? Not all doom and gloom.

COVID the real numbers? Not all doom and gloom.

It sounds like you had a severe case and maybe should have been hospitalised, what treatment were you given? I was not comparing it with seasonal flu, I was saying that for the majority of people it is no worse than seasonal flu, you as I and just about every one else on here are in the...

COVID the real numbers? Not all doom and gloom.

I think you misunderstand my point. The media report cases as if they are hospital cases which for some people can be unnecessarily distressing, if they said X were asymptomatic Y mild cases and Z hospitalised or just give the number hospitalised, then we have a better idea as to the situation...

COVID the real numbers? Not all doom and gloom.

I've just heard the same on C4 news, cases means nothing without context. Its like they are deliberately trying to create panic. It does not matter whether there is one case or 1 million cases if those who are positive have no or mild symptoms and take the necessary precautions, and those of us...

COVID the real numbers? Not all doom and gloom.

The way I see it is that they are finding more cases due to the increase in testing, but the number of people who are critically ill has decreased dramatically, and most now have only mild or no symptoms. Whether that is because the majority of the weak, infirm etc have already been infected and...
