Cant turn monitor on

Hi everyone I was wondering if someone could help I was at my appointment today at the hospital and when she gave me back my monitor it wont now turn on since I got back home it's a freestyle optium neo it just has a white screen that says PC and I tried pressing the butterfly nothing anyone have any ideas x
 
It sounds like it's got confused and it thinking its still connected to a PC, do you have a PC you can connect it to? If so I'd try connecting it waiting a min or two and then disconnecting to see if it sorts itself out.
If you also have software for it try seeing if it recognises the meter before disconnecting.

Note: I dont have that meter, so this is just very basic things you can do to see if it helps
 
If Rokaab's solution hasn't worked try removing the batteries and press the butterfly for 10 sec then replace batteries you will probably have to reset time / date
 
Yep, as above, a re boot is in order (take out the batteries and put them back in again). I did this with one and it worked fine. x
