Type 2 Changing from Treiba 100 to 200

Thank you Antje77. I am / was confused as to weather I take the same number of units or just half, I've seen conflicting statements, even the hospital were not sure. So 70 with the U100 and 70 with the U200. Once again thanks.

Type 2 Changing from Treiba 100 to 200

It's complicated, but the hospital changed me from U100 to U200 but they don't manage my diabetes neither do my doctors. I requested the change to U200. I don't want to change the dose 70 units of U100 is right. I just need to know will I still take 70 units of U200 or does that half to 35 units?

Type 2 Changing from Treiba 100 to 200

I've been on (Degludec) Tresiba U100 for a while now and I'm injecting 70 units per day in one go. I'm about to change to Tresiba U200, but I'm a bit confused. Do I still take 70 units as before or should I be taking just 35 units. Thanks.

    Degludec & Dapaglifozin

I was on Lantus a while back and because of issues with that I was told to stop taking it by my Dr. Without meds my mmols is only around 11 or 12. So being without meds won't be a problem. I've now been off the meds for around 36 hours and the back pain has just about gone. I'll give it another...

    Degludec & Dapaglifozin

I've stopped the Dap (not the Dr's) to see if that's the problem, it doesn't seem to be. As from today I'am stopping the insulin for a few days to isolate that. My Dr was managing things, but when nothing was working he referred me to the Hospital. The consultant their put me on both meds...

    Degludec & Dapaglifozin

I've stopped the Dap, but the back pain continued so only the Deg left. Reading things on the net it is reported that Deg could be responsible for the back pain. I just wondered if anyone on here had experience of deg and back pain. I felt much better, fitter when not on meds so it makes you...

    Degludec & Dapaglifozin

Yes I have in conjunction with the insulin and pills and got my BS down to 5.4. But I found I soon got sick of that diet. So that's not an option in the long term for me.

    Degludec & Dapaglifozin

I've been put on Degludec & Dapaglifozin been on them for around 3 weeks now and found initially they did the job bringing my BS down to around 6 mmols. I'm now getting back pain that I think is down to the Degludec. Has anyone else had back pain with this insulin? I've had over the last year...

    Where to go from here?

That's an impressive list Adam, unfortunately with the exception of the eggs and bacon, chicken and cheese I cannot eat the rest, they cause digestion issues or I simply don't like them. It makes it hard to sort out a menu, but I'll work on it. Leaving the low carb issue aside for now and...

    Where to go from here?

Thank you to everyone who has commented, made suggestions and offered help and encouragement. There is a lot to digest (no pun intended). It does seem that a low carb diet is the way to go and should make some improvements to my condition. I did get a low carb cook book last Christmas and cooked...
