Hello congratulations on your pregnancy:)
It really depends how are you sugars doing ? What is your hba1.... I have 3 boys and was induced at 38 weeks with two of them and one was 35 weeks due to possible placenta failure ( baby wasn’t growing and my sugars were low constantly which are signs )...
When my hba1 was over 100 4 years ago when trying for my second I had 2 miscarriages most likely due to this as I had didbatetes under much much better control a few months later and had my son 8 months later .... no experience with birth defects because of this though
Have u got an early scan...
I had a bloody awful first birth nearly 9 years ago now ... gave birth on operating table for a c section ... luckily I didn’t .... I had episiotomy the drip etc I was induced at 38 weeks he was 7lb 3 as I’m type 1... second birth 2017 lovely I was induced at 35 weeks tho ... it was along labour...
My team wanted my 3rd out roughly same time as my middle baby was born 2017 at 35 for same reasons !
I put my foot down as no actual reason to induce so early as had no issues and placenta scan was great I wanted him at 39 but I settled in 38 hrs a month old now and healthy bs after birth :) x
My sons school have a school taxi service ( obviously have to pay ) but they take and pick up with child on own if this is something you wouldn’t mind
Congrats :) xxx
I had an early scan all 5 times (two miscarriages ) and 3 baby’s as soon as I told the clinic they scanned me that day so I waited till after my own private scan to tell them to make sure everything was ok after going through 2 mc
Thankyou for well wishes have asked not got many answers am run into a circle here but have got some basic info really finally yesterday it’s been a long fight but fingers crossed I’m at 38 weeks with a healthy baby tomorrow :)
Iv always had low sugars which is better for the baby just not for you with risks of falling etc I was told by a specialist in London .... and my baby’s spine looks brill apparently which indicates great control (this was at 24 weeks )
Iv had 2 mc before having my youngest and I think as I had...
hello
So I’m being induced at 38 weeks on Thursday it’s my 3 rd baby my youngest is 18 months I’m type one ....
So due to higher sugars which Iv never had previous with my other 2 he was predicted 8 lb at 36 weeks
Anyways I have a few worries if anyone has any answers....
1. Will baby go...
Wouldn’t worry too much I’m 37+3 weeks type 1 and this is my first pregnancy with high sugars they were pretty good until about28- 30 weeks or so and have been high mostly all day baby is measuring bigger but apart from that all seems ok so far touch wood I’m having him on Thursday will see...
