If you want to try a different chemist ask your gp for another prescription.
I am really lucky as my gp would.
What chemist do you use and by that is it one of the big players like Boots or Rowlands?
They have just 2 suppliers to choose from whereas an independent chemist...

I am not sure on the employee side of things but eating once a day is not alot of food so could you try a light low carb snack around 3 pm.
Just enough to last that extra wait?

Following on from my last post the pharmacist phoned me to discuss insulin and thank fully i was ahead of him and he acknowledged the fact i knew my stuff.
He agreed to change me to tresiba when i was ready and used up my levimir.

Shocking night as my new sensor kept losing its signal so the alarm kept going off.
This is the second time in as many months and had to start a new one.
The readings are right its just the connectivity.

Last year i had an injection in my shoulder and it caused havoc for me.
I had 10 units to cover my evening meal and i ended up in the 20s (this is virtually unheard of for me) so i took 5 more units and went for a yomp. That would fix it.......it didn't so i took a taking a further 15 units...
I.T. bod was in school yesterday and it just so happens his son is type 1.
He helps me with tech and gets my watch to talk to my phone as i'm a bit thick.
It stopped working so yesterday he put on a new app gluroo and bobs your uncle my watch has a new face (silly expression) and my levels are...

I phoned my surgery before christmas and asked for an appointment with whoever was most knowledgwable about diabetes.
They recommended a particular nurse so i made an appointment.

Back in school yesterday snow and ice needing attention.
Levels dropped and kept dropping so i kept eating lol.
10000 steps before 9 am kids and staff all in safely.
Well done me for doing it all single handed but well done me for just about keeping my levels ok but no one noticed or cared...
@jason7 i am 50 years a type 1 aged 57.
I've had issues with my eyes but i'm still driving and working.
Developed coeliacs about 15 years ago but hey ho to that.
hba1c 39 or 5.7 fit as a fiddle.

Your GP can easily prescribe sildenafil which is the name for viagra.
It may not be diabetes related as i have had things go wrong and the NHS blamed diabetes which has not been the case as my dad had similar problems and is not diabetic.
Apparently men don't like talking about such things...
