Last year i had an injection in my shoulder and it caused havoc for me. I had 10 units to cover my evening meal and i ended up in the 20s (this is virtually unheard of for me) so i took 5 more units and went for a yomp. That would fix it.......it didn't so i took a taking a further 15 units...

@jason7 i am 50 years a type 1 aged 57. I've had issues with my eyes but i'm still driving and working. Developed coeliacs about 15 years ago but hey ho to that. hba1c 39 or 5.7 fit as a fiddle. The future is bright. Tony

Hi Your GP can easily prescribe sildenafil which is the name for viagra. It may not be diabetes related as i have had things go wrong and the NHS blamed diabetes which has not been the case as my dad had similar problems and is not diabetic. Apparently men don't like talking about such things...
