I have been using the libre for years and only recently have i had issues and its this issue!
I have had 3 out of the last 6 losing signal every time and have had to have them replaced because they kept waking me up.
Being a thicko with tech how do i update the app?

I inject 5 sometimes 6 times a day and keep a very tight grip on my levels.
My focus is keeping level and don't mind injecting and i put this down to being old school.
I recall countless finger pricks and huge needles back in the 70s and 80s whereas now i have 4mm needles...

All of us are different even with different CGMs and me friend 1and 4...
I have just passed 50 years a type 1.
I remember the injectagun where you placed the syringe on the top of the gun and press the trigger and the **** thing shot into my leg.
You just wouldn't get away with it today as it was torture!!!
I'm well known these days for banging on about 4mm needles...

I usually phone but what i do is this.........
Pop phone on speaker
Have tablet to hand and play scrabble whilst waiting
Have a coffee on the go
I do this early morning when i'm at my most agile (head)
I feel i owe it to the NHS...
@Bwobwob sadly we live in a world of litigation and finger pointing.

I have been advised by my GPs surgery Pharmacist (i didn't know the surgery had its own ) who was about 12 to reduce my dose by 20%.

Its only since i am being forced to change my insulin that i am researching the subject.
I have been bimbling along with good control using MDI and whilst i am confident in changing my mind is not closed to other ideas...
I've been doing alot of thinking lately because of the change of insulin.
Somebody elsewhere stated their background insulin vial lasted 5 weeks and i thought gosh thats not alot and thanks to @Antje77 i worked out mine lasts me 12 days.
