That’s fantastic! Just goes to show that with some good advice and a positive mindset, we can take control back - what an inspiration to us all! [emoji846]
Welcome [emoji846] & good luck! I’ve been doing lchf in the form of blood sugar diet & have lost 2 stone so far.... approx 6 to go but will refine as I go along when I have a better idea what a healthy weight means for me. I love the lchf way of eating - didn’t think I would so pleasantly surprised.
I’ve attached a screen shot of the book my GP loaned to me (from our surgery’s patient support group)
I followed this diet for 8 weeks, then got my blood retested.
Results as follows (just got them today)
Weight at start 114.2 kg: today 100 kg
Hba1c at start 48 (technically diabetes type 2)...
Good attitude, I'm sure your results will show you reward - hope you arthritis doesn't cause you too much trouble when you increase your exercise [emoji5]
You may not have lost Rachel.... but you've not gained either by the look of your post - celebrate that! Your body is perhaps just adjusting - don't give up.
Well done on your paid position - you must've been a real asset in your voluntary status, lovely to get some recognition [emoji5]
Well done that's brilliant! Nearly at your goal, which I'm confident you will achieve! I don't really know if my GP measures yet - its early days for me, but I certainly am. You'd think they would wouldn't you?
