    Thankyou for your replies and advice, more so on the do's & dont's (ty patch) i suppose the peanut/cashew debate will rely solely on my own bg levels, but i have found this infomation very helpful, if theres anymore things low carb(ers) can/ can not eat the suggestions would be much appreciated...

    Diabetes affecting smear test results?

    i could be wrong but when blood sugars are high this sometimes causes thrush and thrush can bring back abnormal results, happened to me once and the docs said this was probably the cause now my sugars are alot more controlled and my last test come back fine :D

    How on earth do you's know so much about this? i feel clueless ...lol :? i have been wondering when i have a hypo i have been eating 5 jelly babies and then when i get back to 'normal' i have been having a slice ov bread with butter, but is there any other suggestions to replace the jelly...
