Must've been 30+...20 mins on its 27.9, phew!

Hi Felt a bit yuk & tested...my meter says 'hi' I haven't experienced a level so high that it doesn't give a number, in years! Can't find anywhere how high is 'hi' - I'm thinking 30+??? Anyone know? (Canula was dodgy. I've had a big bolus so will retest in 20) Thanks :)

Still take levemir, if blood glucose drops, have some juice or dextrose, it will not affect the hba1c. Presumably you have to fast for other blood tests, the hba1c does not require fasting. So a little bit of glucose will not affect it, as it is looking at glucose levels in blood over last 10-12...

Littlewolf...threadjackin, lol! 19, that ain't right!!!! Have you been back to your docs? Your readings are so not non diabetic ones??? You are a conundrum...coz your body corrected that, but you shouldn't be going to 19 in the first place! Hope you get an appt after bank hol, don't be fobbed...
