    ‘Stop Eating After 7pm’ Challenge

Count me in! Although I finish work at 7, so I’ll cut off at 730. I don’t eat breakfast either. I just bareback a shot if my bloods are on the high side.

Type 2s: What have you eaten today?

Good to know, thank you. I’m only just investing myself into this kind of stuff, I’m asking a lot of questions.

Need advice, thoughts on a recent appointment.

I had thought so too, I guess I took the remarks to heart. Though when she started saying 200 was a dangerous level and I had to go to hospital that day for a chat it took the wind out of my sail slightly. Maybe tomorrow will be different. But I’m obsessed with numbers right now. So I’ll be...

Need advice, thoughts on a recent appointment.

I have asked countless times for guidance on dosages, and, like the hospital, nobody provides me with anything. As of now, all I know is that 25 units of Novorapid will bring my sugars down from 12 to around the 5 or 6 mark. Low number units just don’t yield any results. I guess easier to keep...

Type 2s: What have you eaten today?

Does the apple cider vinegar help at all? I’m very sceptical whenever I’ve read about it.

Need advice, thoughts on a recent appointment.

Ok, first up, I have not always been a “good” diabetic. I never understood it and very little help was given from the get go about how I should be treating myself with the medication provided. So for a long time I dipped in and out of my medication and always got disillusioned with the results...

    Novorapid results.

I don’t eat breakfast, this is the odd thing. The only thing I have is coffee. I’m (at the end of my tether) point now where I just inject to get my numbers down. I also take 100 units of Trasiba at night around 9:30.

    Novorapid results.

I’ll be the first to admit I don’t really get the whole insulin injection thing - working out units to take and such - but things just got weirder. At least from my point of view. My morning test (6:00 am) came back at 12.5 (that’s good for me, I’m usually close to 20) so I took 10 units of...

A little lost and no clue what I’m doing.

I’ve been type 2 for 10+ years and I’m going to admit it’s been quite the frustrating journey for a lot of reasons. But for the last 6 months I’ve been on Novorapid, and that journey has seemingly gotten a lot more frustrating. My diet isn’t great (I have cut things out, and reduced some to...

    T2 HbA1c results

My last HbA1c was a 120 and not a single person seems overly interested in helping me get it down. Frustrating to say the least.
