Been on SR Metformin for a month or so and I have had a couple of days where it was very stressful looking for a toilet, but otherwise seems fine, bloods are down to 11.6 mmol/l so thats good!

Nothing he said stay off them! However the Diabetes nurse has since done my bloods an it was 17.8 whatsits and I'm taking slow release metformin started on 1 a day the 2 and eventually 2 tablets twice a day seems ok at the moment

I've been on Metformin since 2007 and have spent time in hospital due to severe dehydration and diarrhoea I was going to the toilet up to 12 times a day when I told a doctor they said some people do go that many times so I battled though, eventually it became a massive problem again I wasn't...

I'm On SR Metformin, 2 x 500mg 2x per day, Gliclazide 60mg and Bydureon 1 x per week, I never suffered with stomach problems, however I have been diagnosed with fissures in my stomach and oesophagus could this be linked?

I've just started Bydureon and have to go to my surgery for the injection it hurts like a *****!! I will never be able to inject myself If it works and I lose weight I'll be happy My GP prescribed it no problem whatsoever

My diet was poor but now it's much better, no cereal , no chocolate , no sweet stuff of any sort. I suffer terribly with Psychotic depression which affects how I eat and do things, I was drinking 40/50 pints a week now it's around 10 a week. I'll search the net for Victoza see what it does thanks

HI everyone, on a recent visit to the Doctors they recommended Injectables once a week and not insulin, I have never heard of this before? My blood sugar has been high for a year now long term bloods are around 95 whatever they are called, fasting blood is 20. I take Metformin twice a day...

Or is it something else? For the last 3 months my whole body has been racked with pain this has also been a period of high blood sugars, 26 fasting!! I have been to doctors and all they did was give me painkillers, which never worked, I also suffer with Major Depression Disorder with Psychosis...

Every time I do fasting bloods in the morning I'm 26 or 25 good eh? drugs have been changed to help, we will see !!
