    Fast acting to slow acting insulin ratio ?

    Thank you. Your answer has answered my question before I asked it. My doc says basal/bolus ratio should be 50/50 but I intermittent fast and eat low carb which means this is not possible.

    How do you fast if you're supposed to have breakfast?!

    I find to combat the dawn effect if you get up, give a small amount of insulin and go for a walk blood sugar will come down quickly.
