I didn't notice this thread was resurrected from 6 years ago lol! And if the Libre won't alert your phone when you're low what good is it? Yeah I get it, it shows you trends, you prick your finger less (as if that's a big deal to a diabetic). To me the most useful thing it could provide is safety from a bad bad low. Like when you're asleep. I don't think I'd mess with that thing even if it were available here. Maybe that's why it's not.

Hi have you tried the glucose sensors, or has you husband tried them? I use a freestyle libre one and it's very good. If your husband wears one of these you can check his blood glucose remotely if you wake up in the night and you can do this without disturbing him. https://www.freestylelibre.co.uk/libre/ . There are other ones that can send to your phone a warning that his blood sugar is getting dangerously low... that might be an option https://www.dexcom.com/en-GB I have occasionally had a hypo while I'm sleeping which is horrible for all concerned. Another thing to do is set the alarm clock to wake him up every couple of hours so he can check his blood....if this is happening all the time. But I think the sensor thing is the best way to go.

He should sort it out as soon as possible, as it has the potential to be a bit nasty.

I hope this helps
