Victoza

I have been diabetic for 20 years and I have now been put on Victoza.
I’ve been on it for just 9 days. Originally at 0.6 and now at 1.2
I have had no side effects - but one thing is worrying me.
I do the injection in the evening. I check my levels three or four hours later and they are either in the high 20s or too high to measure.
They come down overnight to (twice) single figures or 11,12-ish.
Is this normal?

Another thing - I have been injecting at 0.6 - which according to things I have read - should last me about 30 days. I've used the pen up in a week.

Any help and advice gratefully accepted

Hi, I am on Victoza and inject in the morning (1.2) and the pen lasts me 16 days. You’re not leaving the needle connected? Mine will drip with a needle connected. I’m just trying to think how it’s only lasting a week - I found when I injected in the evenings I was getting heartburn at night so the doc told me to inject in the morning

Hi. Those BS levels are far too high. Are you keeping to a low-carb diet whilst taking the meds?
