What's wrong with the librelink app? I've used it for over 2 years with various phones.

There are a couple of Libre apps with similar names.

The one I linked to earlier, Freestyle LibreLink app, was the one which scans your sensor to collect the reading. There are minimum system requirements of the mobile phone required to use this app. Most importantly NFC (Near field communication) compatibility.
More information and list of phones can be found here. https://freestyleserver.com/Payloads/IFU/2019/q2/ART39109-001_rev-F-Web.pdf

There is also the LibreLinkUp which is for family and caregivers, so they can receive the readings when the patient has scanned the sensor with the LibreLink app.

Then the company also has a cloud based storage system, LibreView, which store your data and you can share with medical professionals etc.

All I keep getting is the libre link up app. Maybe my phone is too old I'm using a note 2.

If you want a different app to libre app try glimp or xdrip.

If you use the libre 2 these wont work atm.
