For most what?
For most diabetics. Which is rather clear from what I wrote right after "for most":
To give them some credit though, this part is pretty much true for most. It suggests the second answer meant cutting carbs completely, and thankfully it isn't necessary for most to go 100% carnivore.
It also shouldn't be too difficult to figure out I would never introduce a non-diabetic, off-topic, and inflammable subject to a thread on diabetes.
As a mod I know all too well that threads involving those subjects tend to derail, generate a lot of reports, and create a lot of work for mods.

I think the first option was suggesting vegan rather than carnivore.

Indeed it is vegan. It is complete removal of meat from the menu. Pescatorian, lacto, and ovo vegetarians do eat some meat or related products on occasions, as do flexitarians. They could have said reduced protein instead.

My sister and I have formed an environmental coalition.

She is vegetarian and her lack of meat makes up for the little meat I eat.

Cutting carbs out completely means going carnivore, which is what I was reacting to. I never commented on the first option.
