Before I began seriously regulating my blood glucose, I used to enjoy Thursday Cottage reduced sugar preserves. I didn't check my blood glucose, so I had no idea how I reacted. Generally, my diabetes was uncontrolled, but I also ate bread, rice, pasta, potatoes, etc., so can't say how the Thursday Cottage specifically affected me. I've avoided it since, went for occasional Stute sugar-free marmalade instead, but tbh, don't like it very much. Thinking of trying Thursday Cottage again, but on low carb bread. It has NO artificial sweetener, just less sugar - 38 gms as opposed to 62 gms in their regular preserves.
