I would love to be able to see my blood sugars from my FreeStyle Libre2 on a smart watch. I have a Samsung S23 Ultra and a Samsung Smart Watch 5 (Happy to chnage the watch, but not the phone). I have tried the google and nothing upto date on how to do it. Is it possiable? If so what how do I do it? Many Thanks

Yes its possible - there are a few options to do this, the only one I use (and am familiar with) is xDrip+
This picks the reading up from your Libre (ever 5 minutes) on your phone and will send them to your watch

You need to side-load the app on your phone (not available on the app store) the first time, then it can be updated easily once its on there.

You can then pick the xDrip watchface - and configure it for your settings / graphing requirements etc

I have loved this app for years now - it started me on the path to a Fully Closed loop

Hi.
Xdrip and Diabox are both good options and will read the L2 every 1 or 5 mins. The Diabox is the more simple setup.
To display on an android watch I used Wearable Widgets which will mirror apps from your phone to your watch.
The L2 - Diabox - Xiaomi 10 - Wearable Widgets - Ticwatch C2 setup was very successful for me.
Most of the medical type apps aren't available on Google Play and will need to be side loaded. Usual safety disclaimers apply!

Juggluco is the easiest. I've posted before on here if you search the forum. I have s23 ultra and watch 5 Pro works a dream. Updated every minute. Also data sent to Libreview for your DSN

I use the G-watch app on watch 6, S23 and Libre 2. Download the G-watch app on both devices, sign in to your libre link account in the G-watch settings on the phone app. You will then get live readings on the watch face. The G-watch face is not the best so switched out for the Analogue dashboard face. Just need to find a face that allows the G-watch as a complication

Dexcom G7 and One+ CGMs can connect to Apple Watch as well as an iPhone.

Sorry for going offtopic but does anyone know where to get the dexcom g7 in the Netherlands? And what is the usual price for a sensor? I see websites selling them for 90 euro which seems much.

Hello all, late to the party.
Libre 2+, Omnipod 5 used in HCL with an omnipod PDM.
I've manged to instal libre link up to send BG to my Samsung S22 Ultra. Is there a smart watch that I can display the BG on the face permanently? I want to be able to see BG at a glance when working outside, without touching or swiping, I'll be gloved and muddy!

Hi Richard

I also use Libre2+ Omnipod 5 HCL with Omnipod 5 PDM. I have tried to install Libre link up to send my BG to my iPhone without success. Could you share how you managed to achieve this. Thanking you in advance

I'm using Android so there may be the difference. I can't remember all the steps, but it was fairly straight forward.

Anyway pdm>glooko>libre link up. Confirm the email on your phone to download the app.
I found it need the WiFi off on the pdm to download the readings in real time. Ive no idea why.

Hi,

I use a Samsung Galaxy Watch 4. Cheap enough now there is the 8 just been released?
With juggluco it’s even possible to get the Libre 2+ signal straight to it.
Plenty of watch faces on playstore to download for this specific purpose, too…

Hi Richard

Thanks very much for replying. Unfortunately I cannot see Glooko anywhere on my pdm. I am obviously not looking in the right place. Any help would be appreciated

Glooko is a 3rd party, your pdm will upload info to it for both you and a 3rd party (your diabetic clinic) to review data.

Sign up to glooko from a PC or pad.

Oh thanks.

When I looked on the Samsung site, I understood the watch always reverted back to time.
Juggluco/G-watch wear app/Glucodatahandler can put your BGs in “complications” on your watchface with trend arrows & even a limited graph, if you so wish. (All free apps.)

I raise my wrist watch comes on & I have what I need to see at a glance with the date & time..

The Samsung site don't realy cover the diabetic side of things.

I've customised & set up Galaxy watch faces on my watch using the phone.
Less fiddle..

Thank you very much indeed, very useful info.

I'll go phone shopping in the near future, then have the joy of app wrestling. I usually carry my phone and PDM with we anyway, guessing this won't change?

Thankyou. I have Glooko and Libre link up. They do not however seem to be communicating with each other. I will try again

Thanks

Somewhere I have some instructions I followed, if you have no joy let me know and I'll try to find them.

Hi Richard

I have tried yet again. I managed to get connected, unfortunately my sensor then stopped working. I got the message searching for sensor for an hour. I have now changed the sensor and I am now back up and working. I have not tried to connect again in case I loose another sensor.
