High numbers

Numbers now 18.1 ‍♀️ drinking lots of water
I live in a very cold cottage - heating not exactly great
Would this be affecting my blood. Sugars?
I wouldn't see numbers as high as that with the cold, but I need more insulin when it's cold than in summer. With the very cold weather we're currently having, and the house being colder than normal, I'm needing more insulin than I usually do in winter. I know others need less when it's cold, and more when it's warm, so we're all different.

Evening
So I am attaching screenshots
Honestly I don’t know what has happened this afternoon - all I had was a cup of tea then I was disconnected from the pump for about 40 mins
I’m wondering if I have some sort of infection
My sugars have never been this crazy
I just can’t seem to stay in range??

That is crazy, an infection would definitely be an option and it could be your immune system working away fighting something you don't know about.
Clutching at straws ... Don't suppose there is any chance your pump overheats at night next to/under a hot water bottle? I only asked as this happened to mine recently and next day I had insulin like water and sugars sky high until I changed the cartridge.

Hi Sasha! Have you managed to get your sensors as I notice you are using the Libre . I was advised by my Diabetes team that the Libre isn’t compatible with the [emoji[emoji6]][emoji[emoji6]][emoji[emoji6][emoji6]]g. I use the Medtronic Hybrid closed loop Simplera sensor with the [emoji[emoji6]][emoji[emoji6]][emoji[emoji6][emoji6]]g
I don’t know about a transmitter, is that part of the Guardian sensors. I have a ketone Blood monitor given to me by my hospital when I had DKA. Keep on at your diabetes team for guidance. Good Luck.

So spoke with my nurse today, we’ve strengthened my insulin to carb ratio & also my insulin sensitivity
This am, again have correct insulin, numbers went as high as 23
So I am really hoping these changes make a difference
Thanks for everyone’s advice

Hopefully with the changes made it might take a few days to settle down. Are your levels better during the day?

Out of curiosity as to why do many medronic users seem to have this issue ( including one of my close friends ) I did some googling and found this.
So you can't manually set the TDD like you can on tslim and its based on the last 6 days needs, so for arguments sake, if you average about 25 units a day and suddenly need a massive correction ( like say 5 units ) it isn't going to let you have that much as it won't go over the 25 limit. The only way I can see around this would to be to give a few ' ghost ' units at the end of each day, that would give you a higher TDD and more insulin available for correcting.
Closed loop is fabulous but none of them are perfect yet but I'm sure over time tweaks will improve them. Screenshot_20260110-113621.jpg
