A lot of ointment on the legs

My friend is older man he has a lot of ointment on his legs about 6 square inches on each leg

Thank you for your reply. I don't know what ne He told me he has diabetes I think it is type 2 when I've seen him yesterday he had his pants rolled up so I could see his legs up to the knee area he said "do you see my legs?" Relatively not long ago from me knowing him he told me he has diabetes and his legs going to be amputated. I have attention deficit disorder depression and anxiety today was able to put together if that's is a puss means he may be in critical condition maybe emergency condition. when I visited him few hours ago he didn't gave me a chance to ask my more questions about his conditions and rushed me out and didn't gave me his phone number. I worry about him.

Is this a new friend?
You say he didn't give you his phone number, is this correct? So a very new friendship?

When you see him again, please ask if he's under treatment from a doctor.
If he told you his legs are going to be amputated, it sounds like he is receiving treatment from the hospital already, sometimes amputation is the best way to save a life.

I understand you worry about him, but please look after yourself in the first place.

Hi @zula hadaeva .

Welcome to the forum.

Your friend realistically should join the forum should they have concerns & converse directly with other members with diabetes on DCUK.

It’s difficult to give any advice or share experiences with so little information, (including the brief amount of info imparted to you by your friend.)
It’s usually more appropriate when forum members can engage with them & support directly. Also very difficult for anyone to help when posted second hand information is the only lead members have to comment on regarding an issue.

If you are worried about your friend try to encourage them to seek professional medical advice first & foremost if they haven’t done so already.

Best wishes..
