What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Hi folks, haven’t posted here in a while but still testing away but this morning my number was 5.7!!!!!!!!

First time in a year it’s hit the 5’s in the morning…. Was around 11.8 when I first started testing

By coincidence my first post here was a year ago ….

As I sip my first cup of coffee laced with double cream libre says five point seven

I’d forgotten to do it just a few minuets earlier when I jumped out of bed

Have a good day all if you possibly can

I’m enjoying the mid twenty centigrade I’m getting here. Mind you being built in maintenance man/ child care / grand dad can be tiring. … he ho ….

Well, I’m sure happy I’m not in Mexico any more….
A disappointing 7.1 today, no reason. Food has been good. Today will be ultra low carb….ill have a few sprigs of asparagus with my pork tonight.
Gym was a treadmill walk with for 35 min followed by back and chest weights. Then shopping. Tested before lunch (only had coffee with butter this morning as usual) and my blood was 6.6….pancreas is not a happy camper. I do have one Dexcom and may put that on tonight even though I find the CGM readings always suspect.

8.4 this morning. No surprises as visiting relations for a few days in Carb City. Currently battling the "you must eat healthier, have another homemade scone, it's good for you" etc. Blood sugar peaking higher than it has for months, Libre graph looks like a map of the Himalayas and Hba1c test due end of March so not looking good. Sadly it's part of living so grin and bear it.

Reading is 4.61 mmol/L. Another early start to the day. Feeling thankful not to be dealing with all that snow in New York—Northern California gifted us a gorgeous, sunny day yesterday. Have a wonderful day, everyone.
