Hi all!
Just needed a chance to celebrate the news I had today.
Last year I was diagnosed with a hba1c of 107 which was a huge shock and very scary. My BMI was normal, 43f with history of PCOS.
I declined glicazide and started on Metformin 2g and worked hard on my diet. In October my hba1c came back as 47.
Today my hba1c came back at 40 (5.8). I am so happy and proud of the work I gave put in, I also just feel very lucky that my body has responded so well.
I will continue on this journey and keep up my hard work, will be interested to see what happens with my Metformin at my next review.
Thanks as always for the support
