Football 2025/26 Season.

And Japan make history as the first Asian side to beat England. It's up to Tucel now to decide who he wants to board the USA plane with in June. Back to league footy on Friday and a tough run in for our lads starting with reading on Friday. I think we are just playing fòr the hell of it now. Play offs have gone.

Oh well at least we scored a late equaliser but the gap now 4 points is too much to make back so league one for another season. Congratulations to Lincoln city they are promoted. Chasing pack not enough point's to catch them. Cardiff I think are going up with Lincoln. Play offs well Bolton and Bradford are it looks like assured of playing off. I think Stockport are safe too. 4th play off spot is between reading Wycombe and Stevenage. Onwards we go to Leyton orient on Monday.

Chelsea blasted port vale 5.0 fair play to vale they did well to get to the quarter finals considering they are rock bottom in league one and are certain of relegation.

Well I'm speechless we actually won. 1.2. We scored all 3goals including the winner on 16th minute of 18 mins stoppage time. Gap now 3 point's but 6th place Stevenage have a game in hand. It's still doable but we have 5 awkward games left. Home to Wycombe on Saturday. Meanwhile Lincoln can take the champagne off ice and at the other end we wave goodbye to port vale. Onwards and upwards it seems the fat lady isnt quite ready for singing yet. One more chance on Saturday.

Well Leeds beat West Ham in the FA Cup. Happy days! Chelsea next...that takes me back lol It would be nice to win this time...
And Arsenal were dire v Southampton. We went, wish we hadn't bothered. I now have a bad back for nothing. Hubby not impressed that Leeds are in the semis and Arsenal aren't. :hilarious:They would've been drawn against Citeh and got knocked out then anyway.

Good luck I hope they do it and that is a hard thing for terrier to say lol. As you know Leeds and Huddersfield aren't exactly the best of friends lol. I see Leeds are in danger of slipping into the relegation zone if they aren't careful. Speaking of Yorkshire sides Bradford are in striking distance of automatic promotion. They have done very well. It looks like we'll be playing Sheffield Wednesday next season they are well and truly sunk. I feel so sorry for them I really do. Not sure if they have new owner's or not.

Great 1-0 win for Arsenal at Sporting Lisbon last night. Sporting's home record is fantastic so to win there is brilliant. Just got to keep our nerve for the home leg now.

3-3 draw. We were 0-1 down at half time. Levelled it on 48 mins. Went 2-1 up on 75 mins. They equalised on 90mins. We scored 90+6. Sadly they equalised on 90+11 and the game ended on 90+14. Gap now 5 points cos Stevenage won. 4 games left Home to Cardiff on Tuesday night. To be honest I think Fat Lady has sung now. Needed that win. Final run in Cardiff, Bolton, Mansfield and AFC Wimbledon. Not looking good now.

Home to Cardiff tonight. A re-arranged game. One we need to win or definitely kiss goodbye to any chances of reaching the play offs. Though I think we've already done that. But you never know lol.

Oh dear 2 more points dropped in stoppage time. Finished up 1-1. Gap now 4 points. Stevenage lost but they have a match in hand. It looks like Cardiff have to keep the champagne on ice a little longer. Mathematically speaking can steal 2nd auto promo place but they would need to win their 3 remaining matches and score a hell of a lot of goals so I think Cardiff can in theory crack that bubbly open. Lincoln although promoted can't cack the bubbly just yet regarding League Champions. Our next game is Away to Bolton Saturday dinner time. We could do Cardiff a massive favour there. At the other end we wave goodbye to Northampton, Port Vale and Rotherham. Exeter still have a chance to escape.

:)Great win for Leeds at Old Trafford on Monday! Exactly what I was hoping for! A bit tense towards the end
Well done. You might not have to play Spurs next season. Not looking good for them. I can't remember if they have ever been out of the Top flight.

Our CEO has resigned and not before time. He's been useless all along and Big Kev should have seen this ages ago. It's too late to save this season but with a new one in place over the summer we can sort some dead wood out and build a stronger team with more passion and desire to take us places like up in to the Championship which is where we should have been heading in August had the present team had more passion and desire. Oh well at least we aren't in the drop zone. Happy days ahead we hope net season.
