Bigotry, reliance on unsupported 'facts', unkindness, unfairness.
I’ve just started on the Medtronic hybrid loop insulin pump today. Woohoo.
However, there’s a two mmol difference between Libre Two Plus and Guardian four.
A question for those of you with longer experience of G four, does it take a while to bed in and become more accurate? It’s a just a little way off blood sugar readings, accounting, of course, for the fifteen min lag.

I've been using the G4 sensors probably for about 2 years now (give or take my memory)
On sensor change day (which I normally do in the morning) I tend to calibrate it (with blood tests) a few times through that day to get it sorted, and normally by the next morning its pretty close to the blood test meter

Thanks, I’ll try that @Rokaab once I’ve turned on Smart Guard.

Smart Guard came on last night, alerted me at .[emoji[emoji6][emoji6]] am. There’s nothing like doing blood tests in the early hours to calibrate the sensor.
But worth it. So far, I’m loving it. It’s sooooo much better than MDI.

Just about to enter the learning experience of removing the pump so I can shower. Wish me luck

Hi. Hope your shower went well. I can share in your excitement as I swapped MDI for the omnipod [emoji6] at the beginning of March and I’m loving it too! Big learning curve for us both, but as you say - so worth it!

Just done my first independent set change too. And it worked! Almost as excited as when I first drove a car solo and that was fifty-one years ago.
