Type 1: What are your HbA1c test results?

71/8.6% :arghh: - since coming off hybrid closed loop and being put on injections in hospital my control is awful. I just don’t have the dexterity to be able to use my pump currently
I'm so sorry, I hope you keep improving and will be able to return to your pump soon. You are doing the best you can under the circumstances. Many hugs and love your way.

7.5% (58mmol/mol) when my Dr saw this he sent me a message all about what to do to bring it down, when I read it it kept referring to type 2 it’s so frustrating as he knows I’m a type 1, my diabetic team at the clinic are very pleased with my results as they said ‘it’s good for me and how much it’s come down from when I was first diagnosed as a 1 from being treated as a 2 is a great achievement.’

Currently 7.4 have changed my background insulin from Levimir to Tresiba and been battling overnight lows for the past 3 months, finally got it to a point where I'm steady through the night, the hospital advised me to take 22U per 24 hours about 4 months back and I've adjusted it down gradually to 13U per 24 hours which seems to be the magic number for me. Having settled there as a corrective dose 1U of novorapid seems to drop me by 2mmol, just trying to figure out the novorapid dose for 10g of carbs, once I've nailed that im hoping my hba1c will get better
