Is it worth paying for Premium? I'm a type 2 who is overweight and my BG is running high if I eat more than 20g carbs a meal, I'm struggling with ideas food wise even though I went low carb years ago and lost 3st. I'm 71 and my health is terrible, I really need to lose weight and stabilise my BG.......I just don't want to pay out if I don't need to lol. Thanks

I eat about max 10g carbs per meal because I'm very insulin resistant. I used to eat four meals a day but have cut down that to three meals a day. The easiest way for me to do this is to have my last meal 7pm to 8pm.

I made my own list of low carb foods by looking at the net carbs not the total carbs and ignoring the amount of sugar listed which can be misleading,

If you think an ap could help you then maybe use one. It's difficult to say if it's worth it as the proof of the (low carb! ) pudding is in the eating or testing of the ap and seeing if it has any promising results.

The great thing is you know you need to take action and that's half the battle won already.

Thank you, I think I won't get the app, I'm insulin resistant too but I think I'll do the same as you and write my own list. Tbh I've been surprised at how carb heavy everything is, basically all my favourite foods!

That reminds me of the old joke:
Diabetic niece to diabetic uncle
"Uncle, what's the best thing to eat?"
Uncle: "That's simple - if it tastes good spit it out!"
