Hi, I've had my ypsomed pump for 1yr and 8mts now, I got it in pregnancy. Since I started using it my skin seems to react really badly with the cannulas. I've tried the soft ones and the steel ones, I've changed them earlier than the recommended 2/3 days, I've used barrier spray, but i itch severely from the second I put them in and when I take them off. Its so bad that I have extensive marking and scarring all over my injection sites. I can't stand it anymore and I dont know if im the only person this is happening to.

Hi @Tdog85 and welcome to the forums.

Do you have issues with cgms at all? I do and found that cavilon cream fixed it, though many people prefer cavilon spray.

Maybe look at this thread here

I would suggest talking to your clinic to see what can be done, from using different barrier creams to possibly a different pump???

I've been prescribed cavilon spray and it's not helped, I'm at a loss of what to do. None of my cgm's or other cannulas have ever done this.
